Capter 02 : Flame Pillar's Successor
❝ W-what's your name? ❞
❝ Rengoku Kyoujuro, I am The Flame Pillar! ❞
You not even surprised to know that he is the Flame Pillar. After all, he already famous in the rumours. A rumours about the smiling Flame Pillar. Famous among the girls, you never care about it before but now you want to know more about this man right in front of you. His gentle voice, his gentle face, his sweet smile and his gentle touch. You like him, he seems kind and can be trusted but still, you must be aware of people surround you. Not everyone that smile at you are your friends.
“hm, Rengoku-san.. Can I take my leave now?” you ask while looking at him.
“No! You are not allowed to get out of this estate!” he said, crossing his arm, smiling at you.
You feel pissed at his fast reply. You make a blank yet pissed reaction face to him. He still smiling wide at you, his smile seems a bit sad at the same time. You sighed and get back to rest. You wrap yourself under the blanket but then Kyoujuro crawl, and get on top of you. You blushes hardly looking at him. His sudden movement when he closer his face with yours, you spontaneously kicked his bulge and scream loudly.
“Aaaarghhh!!! H-help! Somebody help! P-pervert!!” you scream, hugging yourself.
“Ouch! Hey, I'm not a pervert. I'm just-” he tried to explain but someone barge in.
“Who scream? Where's the pervert? What the hell is happening!??” a Kakushi stunned lookin at Kyoujuro's pure smile.
“Oh.. If this is the pervert you're talking about, it's fine.. It's fine..” Kakushi slam the door and run away.
“What on earth!? It's fine!? It's not even fine!!” you shouted as the Kakushi ran away.
“Did I scares you?” he asked.
“Hell yeah you dumbass! Get out of my room!” you shouted at him.
“I'm sorry to say but, this is my room.” he replies with a gentle smile.
You shocked and blushes hard, your face turns as red as a tomato. You notice his small chuckles at your reaction after knowing that you're in a man room. More likely, in a perverted Flame Pillar's room. You get up and take your clothes, you push him out of the room by force to change your clothes. Once you're done, you walk out of the room to go to the next mission but he stop you from going on another mission after a serious injuries.
“You can't go with those injuries you're wielding now.” he said smiling at you.
“This kind of injuries is nothing to compare to what my family has suffered at that time.” you said, clenching your fist.
“I might not know what you've been through in the past but, if you want to slay a demon or take revenge on the demon, make sure you calm yourself and your health is important too.” he said, patting your head.
You stunned, can't move, your tears flowing down through your cheeks. Nobody ever said those beautiful words to you before. You always alone, but this time, this man in front of you which you don't really know about him just said something unusual in your life. You grab his cape, wiping your tears away and show him a sweet smile and thanks him. He surprised to see your sweet smile, he hold your shoulder and caress your head.
“I've decided! You are going to be my Tsuguko! (a successor). ” he said as he laugh out loud.
“eh? Wait.. What? Ehhhh!??? The Flame Pillar's tsuguko!? You gotta be kidding me!!” you scream in surprised.
“I don't joke around! Wait, I don't know your name yet. What's your name?” he asked, patting your shoulder.
“M-my name is (y/n), but don't just suddenly decided something without discuss or asking me!!” you shouted at him, with a little blush on your face.
“Okay, (y/n) will you be my tsuguko?” he asked, gently poke your forehead with his finger.
“....” you speechless at how he propose you to be his tsuguko.
“Alright, that's the decision! Starting from now on, you are my tsuguko!” he said and walk away.
“huh!? Wait- what!? Wait!! Rengoku-san!!” you scream, calling for him.
“hm? Oh, starting from now on, just call me Kyoujuro.” he said and walk away.
“K-kyoujuro-san? No way!! No in a hell way I would call you that!! What hell is waiting me ahead now, God!!! Why me!??” you shouted and clench your fist as you feels the great disaster might happen ahead.
