Oneshot Story ┃ Sanemi x Reader
It was a fine day, a fine weather with a fine natural features of the earth. You finally confessed your feelings towards the Wind Pillar, Shinazugawa Sanemi. Butterfly in your stomach when you meet him under the breezing Sakura Tree. At first, you thought that he would shouted or cursed at you because of his reaction but then he turn his face away and you noticed his ears are red. You smile sweetly and hold his hand, you feel his hands are cold as he is nervous. You did your best to make him accept you, and at the end, he accepted you as his girlfriend. Since that day, you often went to the Wind Pillar's Estate and brought his favorite Ohagi. Later, you decided few places to have a date with him.
You've decided the first place to have your date with him, at the Yoshiwara (The Red Light District). Lot's of nice things and festival that often held there. You asked Sanemi to go out on a date, at first he disagree and ignored you. You feel sad and embarrassed because he said harsh words to you right in front of the other Pillars. You decided to give up and went home, ever since that day he pushed you away, you never went to his estate anymore. That makes him worried of you so much, he wanted to find you but he has his own ego where he thought that you should be the one to go after him. He sat under the Sakura Tree where you confessed your feelings towards him. Remembering about your cuteness make him smile even for a bit. He just won't admit just how much he actually love you, because that's how he is, a Tsundere.
“Aniki, aren't you going to find (y/n)-san?” asked Genya as he sat next to Sanemi.
“Huh!? Why would I? She's the one who decided not to come! Tsk!!” Sanemi crosses his arm and look away.
“Actually, you do love her, am I right? If you really do, you should go after her. That's how a woman is, they need attention, love and care from their man.” Genya pats Sanemi's shoulder and walk away.
“I love her? Tsk of course I do. (y/n), you silly girl.” Sanemi mumbles as he cover his red face.
Sanemi finally make up his decision and make his way to your home. He wear a white and black green yukata, with a neat hairstyle. He bought a nice emerald wind emblem hair pin for you, as a gift. He went straight to your home and meet you under a tree beside of your home. He didn't even smile, yet he hand you the hair pink he bought. You smile and took it and hug him. He blushes but he manage to control it and hide it away. He told you to get ready for the Red Light District's festival. You smile happily and went inside to get yourself ready. A few minutes later, you came out to find out the tree has been smashed down. You shocked and trembling, Sanemi seems to feel annoyed by waiting for you to get ready.
“S-sanemi-kun.. I'm sorry for being late.. I am really really sorry!” you bow 90° while apologizing.
“Huh? You know how long I waited?? It's freaking 45 minutes!! What the hell are you doing that late-...” he turn and surprised, he blushes and cover half of his face, he's stunned to see how beautiful you are.
“S-sanemi-kun? Are you okay? D-do I looks weird? As I thought, I looks really weird. I'm sorry for being ugly!” you said covering your red face.
“...Y-you're ugly! I .. I mean, o-of course you're ugly!” he stopped and slap his face. “shit! What am I saying!?” he mumbled. “W-what are you looking at!? Shut up! Don't say any word and just walk! Hurry up, damphead!” he crosses his arm, hiding his blushing face and walk fast.
You surprised at his words yet you smile sweetly, you know exactly just how he is. You wore the hair pin he bought for you. The words he said ‘You're ugly’ actually means ‘You're beautiful’. You know just how tsundere he is and the facts that he won't admit the reality that has always been true. You love that side of him but sometimes, his word could become a sharp knife that strike your heart. You run after him and walk side by side with him, your smile is as sweet as the honey candy. He still crossing his arm, didn't even bother to look at you. Yet you reached his arm and embraces his arm. He didn't say anything but you know he like it because you can see just how red his face become. After few minuted walk, both of you arrived at the destination.
“Sanemi-kun, look there! We've arrive!” you said with a happy tone in your voice.
“You don't have to tell me, I can see it!” he move his arm, makes your hands release the grasp.
“I.. I'm sorry..” you said with a sad tone and walk towards a candy shop.
Sanemi walk behind you, he feels annoyed yet he can do nothing but to follow wherever you go. You pick a couple bird candy and hand him one and he took it without saying anything. Later, you found a very wonderful kimono cloudy wind pattern and told Sanemi to try it on but he refuse, but you keep insisted wanting him to try it on. Then he reached his limit and slap your hand away, both of your candy fall on the ground and broken. The kimono you were holding slip down. You stunned, and tears flow down through your cheeks. Sanemi got mad at your sudden tears yet he picked up the kimono and apologized to you.
“Hey! People are looking so wipe your tears and lift your chin up!” he said with anger tone. “I said I'm sorry! Should I get on my knees!?” he shouted at you.
You shocked and trembling, you wipe your tears away yet you still sniffing, looking down on the ground.
“What would I become if you cry at my common mistake of words? I don't think I can comfort you with ‘I Love You’ anymore.” he said, crossing his arm while looking away.
You cries even more at his words. You clench tight your yukata and ran away leaving him alone. You cries so much, your heart hurt at his sharp words. You can't hold it anymore, you feel hurt too much like a sharp knife stab your heart. You ran until you arrived at the Sakura Tree Festival, nearby the Red Light District. You fall on the grass, clench tight your yukata near your chest. Sanemi let out a deep sigh and ran after you. He chase you, but couldn't find you. He keep running and run, seeking for you at every places he know, until the last place, The Sakura Tree festival. He heard a voice of a girl crying, he follow the voice and saw you crying under a huge tree. He went closer to you, sitting next to you and put the kimono he bought around you. Making you feels warm, you shocked and look away.
“Hey, (y/n), I want to do good but I can't because I only learned bad words, I only learned bad actions and don't know your kind heart. Something always get twisted because I'm still immature, a deep love is hard. I always thought, ‘what kind of love that just keep pushing forward?’ was stupid.” he said, holding your hand tightly.
“Stupid, you say? So this whole time, you never really have that kind of love feelings for me?” you slap his hand away, looking other way as you started to get angry.
“No! I'm sorry, I'll do better. I'm sorry, don't be mad. I did wrong and I realized that. Hey, (y/n) in my eyes, you are a queen. Your charms, that I knew about after this night was almost over in a edge of your locked heart. I slightly love your sweet voice, your long straight hair like Jasmine but I truly love you for whoever you are.” he said as he kisses your hand gently.
“What you said, is true? From the bottom of your heart?” you turn to face him.
“Yes, my dear (y/n). If your heart is hurting, I become torn. You're the one I really cherish. For a young person like me, the word ‘love’ is too awkward to say often and I'm sorry that before this I always tell you words that obviously have no feelings.” he hold both of your hands.
“Right now, please.. Just watch over me a bit more, at the end of my efforts and your trust, there's only happiness.” he add more words.
“Yes! Yes, Sanemi-kun.. I want to be with you more, I want to be happy with you. I really love you!” you said as you hug him tightly.
“Alright, let's stop crying now, wipe away your tears. Oh wait, I'll do it.” he wipe your tears away and peck your eyes. “Isn't that much better? You are the prettiest when you smile this cute.” he said cupping your cheeks and smiles wide.
It's the first time you saw him smiling that wide, you're so happy that he tries his best to fix your relationship. You feels like you've fallen in love with him even deeper than before.
“I'll learn good words, good actions and be like you. I'll do my best to have a good heart and become an amazing boyfriend, okay? We'll go for a long, long relationship. Longer than any other couple. There's a mountain full of things that I want to do with you, buy you every little thing you want, feed you anything you want to eat. It's the truth!” he said, smiling and hugging you tightly in his embrace.
“Love you! I love you! I really do love you, (y/n)!! So so much!” he said and hold your chin up, your eyes meeting his eyes.
“I love you too, Sanemi-kun. I love you so very much! More than you could ever imagine.” you hold his hand on your chin and smiles wide.
He slowly move his face closer to yours, you close your eyes as he plant a soft kiss on your lips. Later, he become rougher, more deep and passionate kiss. He slide his tongue in, plays your tongue together with him, then you break the kiss, catching for air. You breath heavily and pinches his arm. Such a tsundere and perv boyfriend you got. But both of you has fallen even more deeper for each other.
