MY CRUSH ┃ Oneshot Story
Tomioka Giyuu x Reader
"When the sweet darkness that stops the world comes, I open a very little crack of time. Without anyone knowing, I will take you to this secret space of light. You are so precious to me, I will softly hold you in my arms. No words are needed, the moment our eyes meet." you wrote a poem in a letter.
"kyaaa!! I'm going to send this to Tomioka-sama!" you screamed while hugging the letter.
"etto, (y/n), are you serious about sending that to him? We all know he's a lonely hashira also, Shinobu-sama said nobody likes him. Plus, he never smile and a cold type." said Yura (your friend in Kisatsutai).
"Of course! I am deadly serious about this and no! Tomioka-sama will not be alone anymore after this, because he got me. Oh my love Tomioka-sama, I love you~" you said and kisses the letter.
"..." Yura look other way, sighed. "Somehow, I feel sympathy for Tomioka-sama because loved by someone like this girl."
"What did you say?" you give her a death glare.
"N-nothing. Really, a-ha-ha" Yura move back a bit from you while laugh nervously.
After hearing Yura's explanation, you just smiled while holding a letter written to Tomioka. Then you fold the letter and keep it in your pocket and take your nichirin blade, get up and move on to the mission. However in this mission, you're not alone but you're accompanied by Yura and Murata. The demon this time is strong, an ex upper moon.
"So this time it's an ex upper moon, wakuwaku~" you said in excitement.
"Ah, so bothering. I really don't want to sweat.." Yura sighed.
"It's okay, Yura-chan! I'll protect you, so you don't have to sweat!" Murata said in confidence.
"..." Yura glare at Murata "Shut up, nincompoop."
"Yura-chan, you're so cute even when you always cursed or mad." Murata smile sweetly.
"eww you looks like a steamed potato. Stop talking to me, Kimorata." she does a disgusted face.
(notes : Kimorata, Kimoi + Murata = Disgusting Murata)
"pfftt- hahaha" you laughed at both of them.
"... what are you laughing at?" she asked.
"hm, I just remembered my late grandma once said, if a girl and a boy keep fighting in their youth, one day in the future they'll get married." you explained.
"Is that so!? Yura-chan, keep on resist me, so we can get married in the future." Murata said happily.
"Shut the fuck up, Murataho." she sighed and walk fast.

You laughed again, you're so happy to have both of them as you teammates. Moreover, you don't have any other friend than Yura ever since you joined the kisatsutai. In other words, Yura and Murata are the only friends that you got, no other people could bear with being friend with you. People thought that you're lack of everything and only know to be on delusion over the person who once saved your life, which is Tomioka Giyuu the Water Hashira. Nevertheless, you just don't care about what people said about you and keep on having delusion over Tomioka, then one day you met Yura badly injured so you helped her. Since then, you two become so close and on another mission you two saved Murata and become best friends.
Once you arrive at the area where there's an ex upper moon demon, you feel likes something definitely off. Particularly when everyone in the village keep smiling so creepily, they even welcome the three of you. Yura didn't like the idea of the villagers welcomed you guys, Murata seems to be fine with it but still on his guard. Thus, you make a decision to ask a village girl about the village current state and what had happened. Contrarily, nobody answer your question, none of them ever willing to talk. As if they are all controlled by something or, someone, or more precisely by a demon. The, you guys decided to separate, you went for the west area of the village, Yura went to East area of the village while Murata went to the Sourthern area of the village.
While you're walking and looking at all of the villagers, you keep your eyes sharp at every little inch of the villagers. Perhaps the demon is hiding between one of the villagers, it's true that you're lack of sensing demon but there's something that you're hiding inside you. The breath style that you learn are dangerous, and can't be use to fight normal demon, only those with high ranking demon can be defeated by using the breathing style. Otherwise you'll destroy the whole village alongside the villagers themselves. Furthermore, you learned this breathing style when you're only 10 years old because of the anger when you saw your whole family killed by a demon. Your breathing style is called as The Breath of Darkness, it is created through anger and hatred, to use this breathing you must have those emotions of anger and hatred. Therefore, you can't use this technique freely, it is way too dangerous, you might as well lose control of yourself.
On this silent night, under the beautiful moon with cold wind breezing, you continue walking until you reached a suspicious Oiran's house. You saw an image of a guy that looks exactly like Tomioka Giyuu, you follow him while shouting for his name but he didn't even turn toward you. Afterwards, you stop walking as you realized that you almost reached the cliff, the end of the village, you turn around and saw a girl in sexy kimono style smiling at you. She's hugging the arm of your Tomioka, with that you clenched your fist trying to control the emotions of anger inside you.
"I have your man, he love me and not you. Just die little girl." she said.
"No, that's not my Tomioka-sama, because I believe he isn't that weak to get under your stupid control technique." you said, pointing your blade toward her.
"Curse you brat! My dear doll, Water Hashira. I command you to kill that brat!" she shouted.
The controlled Tomioka moves in fast speed while draw his nichirin blade toward you, he swung the blade left to right very fast. You keep moving back and avoid but his speed is way too fast that you couldn't avoid one attack. It strike your left arm, causing you a major injuries. You screamed and fall on the ground but then he get on top of you, you blushes but then you use your blade to defends yourself meanwhile he keep pressing his blade on your blade.
"If you really are Tomioka-sama, don't you remember me? The one you safe a year ago. Tell me that you do remember me, wake up! Open your eyes! Tomioka-sama!!!!" you screamed then he widened his eyes and fall back.
"T-tomioka-sama?" you get closer to him and hold him.
"(y/n)? T-that's you?" Tomioka slowly open his eyes as a little insect jump out of his hair.
"Tomioka-sama! You remember my name! Thank God!" you hug him tightly.
"SHUT UP STUPID HUMAN! DIE!!!!" the demon uses her blood demon art to attack but you can't reach your blade.
Then, a flash light just saved you and Tomioka. When you look at the other side, you saw Yura and Murata. So Yura use her Breath of The Light to protect you. Then you get up and close your eyes to concentrate, you remember the facts the demon tries to kill both you and Tomioka, you started to get angry and hate.
"Total Concentration! Yami no Kokyu, Nii no Kata : Yamimatoi, Mumyo Midaregiri! (Breath of The Dark, Second Style : Dark Cloaked Lightless Blade Storm)" you coats your blade in a dark aura and swings it in a disorderly fashion, creating multiples slash that flies toward the demon and cut her neck.
"Not over yet! Yami no Kokyu, San no Kata : Yami no Kinbaku! (Breath of The Dark, Third Style : Dark Restraint)" you creates a rope composed of darkness using your blade and wrap around the demon, restricting her movements from using her last power of Blood Demon Art and slowly disappeared.
"Wow, that's damn amazing." Yura gulp in nervous.
You turn to look at them and smile wearily, you then fall unconcious. Three days later, you wake up and hold your head, you still have a hard time to get up but you don't give up and pull all of your strength and get up to walk outside. You saw Yura and Murata resting under a tree, you smile toward them and saw Tomioka sitting on the bench alone. You get closer to him and sit next to him.
"Tomioka-sama.." you smile at him.
"(y/n), you already fine? it's been 3 days you sleep." he said.
"Yes I am. etto, I have something to give you but I can't find where it is now, perhaps gone while fighting the demon." you looked down sadly.
"This?" he show you a letter you wrote.
"Yes! That's the one! Where did you get that, moreover how did you got controlled?" you asked.
"I was supposed to handle her alone in that mission, but I done a wrong move and she manipulate me. I got this letter when you fell unconcious then the letter fell so I took it and Yura said it's a letter for me, from you." he explained.
"ah I see but now you're fine? wait, did you read the letter?" you asked in surprised.
"Yes, it's a poem and I continue it." he said.
"Between the dancing stars, between the flowing light, only one in the world, In our own little world. The dreaming stars pass by, the spilling light passes by. If only you can be happy like you are now, I will make this moment never go away." he read the poem.
You widened your eyes, looking at him and focused to listen to his poem as the wind breezing so cool through your hair.
"Only My Love, I’ll be here where the stars are. You are so precious and this is my love, I'll always look at you. Night and day, I'll stay by your side." you said as he look at you with a simple yet a gentle smile.
"The melody that the angels conduct, makes all pain go away. When I see you smiling inside, I want to hide you away, be my girl?" he continued.
"When your white smile spreads, a warmth enters my heart. I am colored by your light. In my eyes, it’s only you that I believe it’ll be a happy ending like a beautiful fairy tale. I’m counting all the stars of the Milky Way, until all those stars wither, I’ll be by your side. Like a big tree, I’ll be your shade." he continued again.
Your tears fall through your cheeks, you hug him tightly. You are just too happy to know that he actually know and remember the poem you once read a year ago. Both of you met when he saved you, then he brought you back to Water Hashira's estate. He even help to take care of you and let you live a new life but sadly, you always got send to a mission far from him. So you rarely have time to talk to him, but he admitted that he often check for you. He admitted he always look at you from far and love to see your smile. You then confess your feelings for him, he smile and hold your hand and plant a soft peck on your forehead. You smiles widely, and so did he.
