Chapter 01 : Transfer Student
It's been a month since you first move to your hometown. You started living with your grandparents, your parents passed away few month ago. You left alone, no friend, no cousin, you don't even know how to smile after you lost your parents. It was a great loss in your life.
You find your life as boring, plus people always thought you're a weirdo. Since you're a child, you always see what other people can't see, those who live in other world. You can see ghost and people thinks you're a freak, that's why you always alone.
You sighed at your new school front gate, looking around to find friend but everyone ignored you. Even the teacher who wait the student in front of the gate didn't even greet you. However, you don't even mind them and went straight to school office to register yourself.
After done all the registration, you met with Teacher Tomioka and he guide you to the classroom. You introduce yourself as (y/n) and went at the back of the class to have your seat. You keep looking out of the window, spacing out and remembering about your parents.
“huh.. What a boring day..” you sighed.
You noticed some people are looking at you but you ignore and pretend that you never notice them. The bell rang, meaning it's rest time. You take your bento and walk out of the class and went to an abandoned hut. You start eating alone by yourself, watching the other students smiling and laughing. You sighed and continue eating.
Few moments later, you saw a spirit of a young girl smiling and waving at you. Then, you wave back at her with a blank face. She then slowly disappear inside a building, you blink your eyes and leave your bento at the hut to follow the girl disappear inside an abandoned school building.
You keep following her until you reached at a classroom, you keep wondering what did she want and why did she appear before you. Suddenly, a hand reached your shoulder, making you surprised and jump back to avoid. You heard a voice chuckling at your action, you then open your eyes and look at the person, you widened your eyes.
There's 2 male student and a female student smiling at you, you hurriedly looking around and search for the girl that you saw before. However, you don't see her figure around, one of the male student wear a fox mask, and the female student also wear a fox mask but the other male student seems familiar. Yes, he is your classmate. Kamado Tanjiro.
“Hello! You're (y/n), am I right? the new transfer student. Perhaps you already know about me? The class representative, Kamado Tanjiro. Nice to meet you!” he smile and offer a handshake.
“H-hello, yes I am (y/n). Nice to meet you too, class representative Kamado-san.” you said and accept his handshake.
“Ah, just call me, Tanjiro! Let's be a good friend.” he smiles gently.
“Hm, okay. By the way, who are those two? I didn't notice them as our classmate.” you asked him while looking at those 2 students.
“eh!?” Tanjiro seems surprised.
Tanjiro gulp in nervous and look at the other 2 students, not just him that seems surprised but the other 2 students also surprised. He rub the back of his nape, he smile awkwardly at you. Moreover, his action makes you feels something is off, why didn't he immediately introduce them to you. You end up asking him again, that it makes him sighed and eventually introduced both the other 2 students to you.
“etto, This guy is Sabito and the girl is Makomo. They're not our classmate, they're err.. hm..” he haven't finish his words but you started to guess.
“Naruhodo, they are from another class. Perhaps you three know well for such a long time ago?” you asked again.
“ah.. Y-yes! They're from another class and yes, we do. We know each other when we play at a shrine.” Tanjiro smiles.
You nods your head as the sign you understood, however you still curious about the girl you saw before. You sighed and the girl name Makomo, hold your hand and smiles at you. You widened your eyes but tries to smile even just a bit for her, she's a cute and short girl.
Unlike you, who are not feminine and tall, you look at Sabito but he keep avoiding eye contact with you. You thought, perhaps he doesn't really like or shy to talk with a girl but he got a good term with Makomo. You move closer to Sabito's side and poke his neck, you widened your eyes as he immediately move back. He glares at you and pulls Makomo to walk away.
