“Looking at your necktie, you must be a new student. What's your name?” he asked.
“Yes, my name is.. (y/n), and you are..?” you bow and thank him.
“My name is Nanamori, and I am one of the 6th members of Strawberry Prince!” he replied with a smile.
» (y/n) pov «
//wait a sec, did he said he is Nanamori? This dude is Nanamori!? You.. bastard.. I meet you again here- and what!? You don't recognized me? Tskk- how dare you!!?//
You force yourself to smile at him then walkaway, he grab your hand and give you a piece of paper. You look at the paper and pissed off, you crumble the paper and throw it away. You give him a death glare which makes him stunned yet he smirk, the first girl who would throw away whatever he give. He find you as interesting, he actually know who you are but pretended to not know you. His first ex-girlfriend, why won't he recognized you. You were pissed with the sudden action of him, he gave you his Line ID but that makes you even more pissed. You walk straight towards the Composed department and get your student ID pass then you went to class.
“Alright students shut up and stay calm! We have a new transfer student today, she's in the Composed department. So make sure to be good to her, otherwise I'll spank you.” said Mr.Toshiro, the homeroom teacher.
“Hey new kid, just come in and introduce yourself to the class.” he said again.
You gulp of nervous, take a deep breath and went inside with a big smile. You stand in front of the class, ready to introduce yourself to your new classmates. You were so happy, not until you noticed an annoying dude in purple hair, smiling while waving at you. You suddenly feels pissed yet you keep the smile created on your face and bow politely to the class.
“My name is (y/n). Nice to meet everyone, I came from a small town far from here. I love to create music due to scenery and situation. Please take a good care of me!” you bow again.
“Alright, go take a seat at the back.” Mr.Toshiro said.
“wait, behind that.. weird dude?” you mumbles to him.
“yeah, he might be weird but.. He's damn famous in this school, so just go there and take your seat, kid.” he whispered to you.
You pissed off with your homeroom teacher and just went straight toward the back of the class and have your seat behind Nanamori. You take a deep breath and smile wide, you look at your desk mate and offer a handshake. She is known as Tooi-san, she got the charming look on her face, her eyes are round and beautiful. You have a fun and comfortable conversation with her, you like how charming her voice is. When you turn to look forward to concentrating on the lesson, Nanamori turns to you and grins. You facepalm and push his face to make him turn other way, yet he grab your hand and kisses your palm. You blushes yet you feel so pissed with him.
“Dude, can you stop being weird!? and let my hand go!” you said while frowning.
“hm.. Beg me.” he smirk.
“....” instead of begging him, you facepalm and pinches his cheek using your left hand, making him groan and release your right hand.
“Ouch! That's not fair!” he pouted.
You don't even give a damn care about him, you keep concentrate on the lesson and ignored him. Even though he keep turns to stares at you, you keep on facepalm and ignored him, as if he don't exist in front of your eyes. You then noticed a male student keep staring at you, you look at him and smiles gently toward him. He seems to be surprised at your smile, he smile back in an awkward way. Then you continue to focus then he throw a crumbled paper to you. You took it and look at him, he gave a sign for you to open it and read. You did exactly like he told you, and read the contents inside.
» (y/n) pov «
//hm.. what is this? Can't the student of this school get even more weird than this tskk- eh? Jel? His name is Jel. Joker? Wait, Joker.. From the Futagotamagawa Town? wait a sec, could he be the person I've been searching for? Right, he seems to know about my past too. I should ask him about that.//
You wrote on a paper and crumbled it and throw to him, it hit his head. You laugh slowly and smiles at him, he took it and rub his head then read it. You wants to meet him at the pond behind school, during the recess time. He look at you and nods his head lightly with a big smile and a ‘ok’ hand sign. You smiles in agreed and keep on focusing, Nanamori seems to notice your paper message with Jel. He clench his fist while smile in pissed, he even break the pencil because of a tight grip. He feels annoys when he saw you with other guy, even though that guy is his own best friend. He take a deep breath and stay calm, he plan on following you later.
» Rest Time «
You walk out of the class and went straight toward the pond behind school with your bento. Jel seems to give an excuse to his members and went straight toward the pond, he saw you sat on a bench nearby the pond and went behind you. He secretly surprise you from behind, you jump of shocked and your bento dropped on the ground. You no longer have foods to eat, you look at Jel with a pissed off face. He gulp and rub his back nape and apologized to you, you crosses your arm and frown. You told him to pick it up and he did, then he offer you his bento. Both of you end up sharing his bento.
“I'm sorry, I just want to joke around. Don't be mad please..” he said as he feed you a tamagoyaki.
“uhm-” you eat it and chew. You blush a bit and nods your head.
“This tamagoyaki is actually so delicious!” you said.
Nanamori is staring at you from far, he clench his fist. He no longer smile yet he feel pissed, he want you just for him. He then walk back to class and kick his desk in annoyance. The members of SutoPuri thought that Nanamori is acting too weird. Meanwhile, you and Jel are having fun together. You finally ask him about his hometown and elementary school.
“I'm from the same town as you, we went to the same kindergarten too. Remember? The star rubber hair you gave me? This one.” he show you his palm, there's a star rubber hair he wore the whole time.
“You gave it to me, it was the last time we me that day, and we haven't meet for a week. I kept waiting for you at the playground but you never came. So I went to find your house, but you are no longer stay there. Your neighbor, Mrs. Kanou said that your family moved to German because they want to treat your wound. You got into a car accident, I cried once I knew that news. I swore to myself that I will definitely find you one day, and I became an Utaite because I want to sing. With singing, would make you find me as well, I didn't know that you would end up amnesia about your past, about our memories together. It saddening me but, I'm just glad that you're finally here now, beside me, eating with me and smile with me. I've missed you, (y/n).” he said as his eyes seems to teary.
“J-kun, I just remembered everything now. Going to kindergarten together with you, the weird guy with stupid puns. I just remembered now! J-kun! You're the person who always appeared in my dream. The boy who always said ‘(y/n), you silly girl’ meanwhile he is the actually idiot.” you laugh.
Jel facepalm hearing your words, but then you keep poking his cheeks, making him smile and laugh together with you. You then tell him a secret where nobody knows. About your relationship with Nanamori, Jel surprised to know that you are the girl Nanamori talk about before. He tell you that Nanamori is actually a good man, Jel told you to stop being mean toward Nanamori. Because he is actually just a cute and nice fetus, but you frown that you keep your ego high, making Jel to pinches both of your cheeks hard. You groan and slap his hands gently. Both of you then walk back to class, Nanamori keep silent and said nothing to you. He don't even turn to look at you, making you a bit worried about him.
“Nanamori, can we meet after school end at the school garden?” you whispered to him
“...why would I listen to you?” he said in a cold way.
“huh!? Stop acting all weird can't you? We need to talk! and I'm serious, I'm going to wait until you come. If you don't come, I'm going to break your 207 bones.” you whispered again.
» After School «
You tell Jel that you're going to meet Nanamori at the school garden, Jel support you. He cheers for you and smile wide, Nanamori saw you and Jel. It makes him more jealous, he is mad and he don't want to meet you. He went straight back to his dorm and take a nap, but well he couldn't nap properly because he keep thinking about you. You keep waiting for him at the school garden but he didn't come. Until day turns night, you still waiting with a hope that he would come and rain fall heavily on you. Making you wet of the heavy rain, you keep waiting without moving. At that time, Colon and Riinu is walking using umbrella, they saw you standing in the middle of the heavy rain. They ran back to the dorm, they know that you and Jel are childhood best friend, Jel already tell them but Nanamori is too pissed with that and he ignored Jel.
“Jel! Jel-san!!” Colon and Riinu shouted.
That time Nanamori noticed about the heavy rain and worried if you're still waiting for him. He get his jacket and umbrella then walk out of the dorm, he look at Colon and Riinu attacking Jel. Jel asked where Nanamori would go, he said to somewhere out there and Colon and Riinu just said that you are standing in the middle of the rain. Making Nanamori ran as fast as he can toward you, he panting when he saw you're shivering in the middle of the rain. He ran toward you and hug you tightly. He didn't let go of the tight hug.
“N-nanamori, you finally.. C-came..” you said, shivering in cold, you hug him back.
“You idiot! What are you doing standing here in the middle of the rain? You'll get sick!” he said as his tears fall down.
“baka.. I'm waiting for you..” you said, still shivering yet you're smiling at him.
“(y/n).. Why do you have to do this.. You can just be yourself and came to my room or smash my room door, just to talk with me. Why did you even keep waiting here?” he asked as he still hug you tight.
“because Nanamori used to say ‘Can't you act more like a feminine and cute girl?’, that was the reason why we broke up that time. So now, I'm trying to be like a feminine, cute and silly girl. Jel keep cheering for me to do all my best, to prove you that I can be feminine too.” you said, smiling wearily.
“I'm sorry (y/n), even if the sad fate's shadow covers me, I can't get rid of myself who loved you so much. The person whom I feel like I can catch if I close both of my eyes, the person whom I can feel even if I can't see, this relationship that we established while alive.. Can I have it even after death?” he said, cupping your cheeks.
“N-nanamori.. These whole time, deep inside my heart only God knows how much I still love you, yes I want to be with you even after death!” you said, smiling as your tears fall through your cheeks.
“My lingering feelings that loved you, my dreams to start over, I don't even care what people would think or see me as soon, as long as I have you with me. I will leave those old habits of me, I won't smile to any girl other than you. I love you, (y/n). Please be my girlfriend once again?” he asked you, holding your chin up.
“Yes, Nanamori. I want to be your girlfriend once again. Please take care of me..” you sadi, holding his hand on your cheeks.
He hold your chin up and plant a deep kiss on your lips, you reply to his kiss. All of the SutoPuri members watching from far, Jel is smiling seeing you happy. Even though it breaks his heart to see you with another man, but as long as you're happy, that would be part of his happiness. One day of love, you and Nanamori finally get back again, you love him with all your heart and so did he.
