Chapter 03 : The Girl in White Dress
You still think of it, you can't forget about her so you decided to investigate. You wanted to know about that girl and about Sabito and Makomo. At the evening, you went to school with Tanjiro, although he refused but he brought along his younger sister, Kamado Nezuko.
It's the girl at the other day where you saw her being chased by Agatsuma Zenitsu your classmate. You thought that it's just the 3 of you but then, the other 2 clowns also follow. Inosuke Hashibira and Agatsuma Zenitsu, you sighed but just let them, you warned them to not make any noises nor be loud.
"Alright, just don't any loud voices otherwise I'll-" you haven't finish your words.
Inosuke started to run around and make some noises, and Zenitsu keep shouting and screaming, you sighed and tap your forehead. You look at Tanjiro with a glare and Tanjiro sighed and apologized to you, he eventually knock both of the noisy squad and shut them up. All of you get inside the school old building, in your mind, you could just think about the girl in white dress and Sabito and Makomo.
After few walk in the building, all of you heard some noises and suddenly the school building seems to be shaking. You widened your eyes and turn to look at the others, Zenitsu is clingy on to Tanjiro's shirt, Inosuke is shouting and Nezuko keep hugging Tanjiro. You clench your fist and suddenly the shaking stop but not so long after that, the building part suddenly moving and all of you separated.
"aaarghh!!! Tanjiroooo!!!" Zenitsu screamed.
"HA-HA-HA! Alright! come out you bastard ghost and fight me!" Inosuke shouted in excitement.
"hmmp!!!" Nezuko hum.
"Everyone! Grab onto something! Don't get separate-!" you haven't reached Tanjiro's hand but you were pulls into a classroom and separated from them.
"NO! (y/n)!!!!!" Tanjiro shouted.
You fell unconscious for few minutes, then you slowly open your eyes, you feels a cold win breezing through your hair. You get up slowly, holding your head, it feels hurt and dizzy, however you can still manage yourself to get up. You saw the girl in white dress smiling at you and realize that you're actually in the classroom where there's a mysterious store in it.
You back off from her, afraid that she might be an evil ghost and the cause to what had happen to you and the others. You seems scared of her, thus she get closer and caress your hair and a tears falls through her cheeks, you look at her and widened your eyes as you saw her tears.
"I'm sorry, did I scare you? but please don't be afraid, I'm not a bad ghost. I just want to meet my younger sister for one last time before I could get away from this world. There's something hidden in this store and I couldn't get in, it's for my younger sister." she said.
"You.. have a younger sister? Since when you died?" you asked.
"It's happen around 5 years ago. I once a senior student in this school old building, not just me but also Tomioka Giyuu and the other teachers." she said with a smile.
"Wait, so that means you're the same age as them?" you asked.
"Yes, and not just them but also those..-" she haven't finish her words but Sabito suddenly came.
"(y/n), are you okay? so you're here!" he panic and came to hug you.
"Sabito? y-yes, I'm fine." you blushes and hug him back.
As always, his touch feels so cold that it makes you feels the chills but you don't have the guts to ask him the truth about him. He is just way too mysterious and it makes you can't stop thinking too much about him and Makomo, plus the way he always suddenly appear and disappears makes he is so suspicious. He caress your cheeks and give a death glare to the ghost girl.
Sabito get up and pretended as if he didn't see the ghost girl, you look at the girl in white dress with a sad eyes, she smiles wearily at you and wave. Sabito help you to get up and escape from the building, you look at Sabito but he didn't even talk to you. Then you saw Makomo and the others, Tanjiro is silent looking at you and Sabito but then Zenitsu shouted at you.
“you moron! Where did you gone!? We've been searching for you! All alone by yourself!” Zenitsu shouted.
“huh? Alone?” you turn to look at Sabito.
“But I'm with him..” you pointed at Sabito.
“huh!!?? Who!? Nobody else is here with us! And no one is standing next to you!” Zenitsu shouted again.
“What are you saying? Sabito is here.. Sabito?” you turn but find out that Sabito is no longer next to you and so did Makomo.
You look at Tanjiro with a little frown, you're so confused. Are they also the same as the girl in white dress? Tanjiro pulls your hand and lead everyone out of the building. He brought everyone to Tomioka's sensei house along with Kochou Shinobu senpai. You sighed and just stand still, waiting for someone to explain.
“hm, (y/n)-san? Is the girl you see is, this girl?” Shinobu show a picture of her childhood with her older sister.
“Yes she is.” you nodded your head lightly.
“Nee-san.. She is my nee-san..” Shinobu looked down sadly, her eyes started to get teary.
“Senpai, what is her name?” you asked.
“Kanae.. Kochou Kanae.” she said.
“She got something for you, but I haven't able to get it for you but Sabito came and pulls me out.” your explanation make Tomioka sensei widened his eyes.
“What did you say? Sabito!?” said Tomioka sensei in shocked.
